Sustainability

Best Sustainability Initiative V d’Or

The world of wine and spirits is experiencing the effects of climate change first-hand.
It has a responsibility to ensure a sustainable future that balances economic and environmental performance, safeguarding the fragile ecosystems on which it depends.

The Best Sustainability V d’Or is awarded to a specific solution or mitigation provided by an interprofessional organisation, a group, an individual, a company, a brand, a winery or a distillery.
Projects presented must have been implemented, announced or achieved significant results since January 2024.

Education & Transmission

Best Education & Transmission V d’Or

The future of the world of wine and spirits hinges on the ability of sector stakeholders to share their knowledge and train other professionals either by disseminating innovations or reviving and safeguarding forgotten skills.
The Best Education & Transmission V d’Or is awarded to an interprofessional organisation, a group, an individual, a company, a brand, a winery or a distillery that provides an in-person or online programme or scheme committed to mentorship, education and skill transfer towards professionals within the world of wine and spirits.
Projects presented must have been implemented, announced or achieved significant results since January 2024.

Innovation

Best Innovation V d’Or

The overall decrease in alcohol consumption, particularly in producer countries and among young people, and the changes in consumer expectations challenge long-held certainties, undermine growth, and ultimately threaten the survival of the wine and spirits sector.
The Best Innovation V d’Or is awarded to an interprofessional organisation, a group, an individual, a company, a brand, a winery or a distillery for an initiative which reaches out to new audiences or taps into new markets. It can be an innovative digital strategy, a creative advertising campaign, a brand-new event, a new packaging, or a new product.
Projects presented must have been implemented, announced or achieved significant results since January 2024.
