OUR PLEDGE TO BECOME<\/strong>

Events challenges are at the core of what we do, which is why Vinexposium has signed the international ‘Net Zero Carbon Events initiative’ by UFI and thus committed to organising events that continually ramp up their environmental responsibility and sustainable credentials.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The aim is to reduce our CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030 and to become carbon neutral by 2050.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We measure our carbon footprint but also that of all stakeholders (event venue, exhibitors, partners etc..) to get a clear picture of the strategy needed to become carbon neutral by 2050. Then we roll out tailored actions for as many emission categories as possible and aim to offset other categories using positive impact projects<\/strong> like long-term carbon sequestering solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

    RAISING AWARENESS AMONG STAKEHOLDERS<\/span><\/h3>\n

    [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”none” css=””]These measures are aimed primarily at minimising waste across-the-board and encouraging a culture of sustainability among all participants.<\/span><\/p>\n

    We educate and inform exhibitors and visitors about the eco-friendly choices they can make before, during and after the Wine Paris exhibition. Ultimately, the medium will be rolled out across all exhibitions through specific responsible actions.<\/span><\/p>\n

    WASTE RECYCLING AND REDUCTION<\/span><\/h3>\n

    • a reduction in the use of carpets<\/span><\/li>\n
    • a reduction in the number of printed visitor guides<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
